But, there can be circumstances when you get restricted (or want to restrict yourself) in terms of location. What can you do in such situations? As Liam demonstrates in the video, there are a lot of things lying around in the house that you can use to create great portraits. It could include shooting in front of a light source like a table lamp, shooting through a glass, shooting by the window and so on. Another great idea is to use the blinds on the windows, or even strainers as gobos. You can use them to create interesting patterns of light and shadows on the subjects face to add mood to your portraits.
