Interesting Photo of the Day: A Selfie Ten Years in the Making

Flipping through old photo albums, you can see how much you’ve changed since you were a kid. Sometimes people even recreate old photos to relive past memories. But few create fully blown composites from self-portraits taken in 2005 and 2015:

That’s exactly what Arjun Hair, a 21-year-old photographer from British Columbia, did—he grabbed a silly photo of himself at 11 and spliced it with an identical one taken this year, now that he’s 21. The inspiration was quick and the process simple, he wrote on Reddit:

“I was looking for an old picture for #throwbackthursday on Instagram and came across this one, and thought it’d be a cool quick project—it took less than 30 minutes.”

Or, as one Redditor corrected: “Ten years and 30 minutes.”
