The pink, warm light reflecting off the impressive architecture and the East River adds a dramatic effect for picture-perfect shots. This long exposure of the skyline by photographer Colin Kelly beautifully portrays the calm, peaceful mood as the sun sets against the buildings:
This image was taken from Brooklyn Bridge Park after Kelly wandered around the piers looking for the perfect shot. He uses a Nikon D3300 on a tripod with a 16mm Rokinon and 10-stop ND filter.
