Photographing for one color is one popular and interesting challenge that’s sure to boost your creative outlook. You can either actively look out for subjects around you that flaunt the color of your choice, or set up a scene manually. Here are a few quick tips to help you get started:

  • Photograph a subject/item of a particular color placed in a neutral surrounding.
  • Emphasize the element that uses the color by using it as a prop.
  • Even photograph objects that are typically red and convert the image to black and white. Let the brain tell the viewers that it is the color red that they are viewing.

    Good Morning,

Great article/video! Since our photo club has not been able to meet, this will be great to share with them while they are isolated at home. It will give them a chance to keep those creative juices flowing and to store up images to share when we are able to meet again.

    Thanks so much!
