Chances are you’re probably already familiar with the work of Peter Lik even if you’re not aware that you are. With a little a little help from his camera, the well known photographer has managed to capture some of the worlds most scenic landscapes. On a recent trip to the Big Apple, the Australian native once again demonstrated his abilities as an artist, this time bringing along a video camera to give his fans a behind the scenes look at him at work. Take a couple minutes and feast your eyes on the following video:

Some of photographers are jealous of his success since they have taken thousand of photos in their entire career but only few can open the gallery & sold some of their images, the rest photographers have second jobs so if you can’t make it to the top. Don’t hate the successful person in your field, most people bought his photos who are rich and successful. All his big clients are hotels, resorts and other riches so keep whining. You are still an unknown photographer until the end of your career!
Why do you give credibility to this person? According to the New York Times, Peter Lik has artificially inflated his market and has preyed on those who are not versed in fine art photography.

His work maybe technically clean but certainly a series of clichés. There is absolutely nothing unique about his work. Every one of his photographs have been done before – several times. When I think of Lik’s work I think of Thomas Kinkade, both are self-promoters but lack talent. Unfortunately, the masses do not understand fine art and tend to like images they are familiar with, and match their décor.
