Interesting Photo of the Day: St. Basil’s Cathedral on a Frosty Winter Morning

iPhone cameras might not pack as much punch as DSLRs in terms of megapixel count, but they can certainly create stunning images when operated by folks who know what they’re doing in adequate lighting conditions. That’s certainly the case with this beautiful photo of Moscow, Russia’s iconic St. Basil’s Cathedral:

The photographer captured the image with an iPhone 6S on the morning of January 6, 2015 in Moscow, Russia. It was a cozy -4°F at the time.

“I have been really enjoying using the newer model iPhones with Snapseed,” wrote PowerShark5000 on Reddit. “Makes it easy to always have a good camera and responsive editing options available.”
