It’s been a long time since I’ve seen the sunrise, but I rolled out of bed, grabbed my gear and hurried out the door to grab this one in the early hours “Sunrise over Queenstown”:
- Canon EOS 5D Mark III with EF 24-105mm L Lens @ 47mm
- F/5, ISO 100
- Used bracketing settings to capture 7 shots from -3 to +3, then only ended up using 3 or 4 of the resulting exposures.
- Post Processing with Lightroom, Photoshop, and Photomatix
Hoping to post more photos regularly, please let me know if you enjoy posts like this, if so I will try to provide more detail. I check Facebook often so if you have any questions or comments on the photo feel free to reach me there:
It’s hard to get up at Sunset, but the lighting conditions are so worth it. Set those alarm clocks!
