Taken using a Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Loire employed a wide angle lens set at 28mm to capture a large portion of the huge, underground ice cave. At an aperture of f/11 and an ISO of 400, he was able to pull off  a long exposure of 25 seconds creating an evenly exposed image with a nice, milky effect on the water.
