Photography workshops sure aren’t what they used to be, and judging by the video clip below, that’s probably a good thing. The footage was taken at a clinic geared toward amateur photographers in 1961 and shows a humorous look at the way things used to be for aspiring photographers:
Some of the participants in the camp are a little more interested in the talent than they are their cameras. One student was so distracted he even had to have his lens cap removed for him by the official photographer.
Seeing this footage sure makes one grateful for the great workshops and learning resources we have available to us in these modern times.
