How to Use Wallpaper

Setting the image as your wallpaper:

To set the image as your wallpaper right click anywhere on the image by pushing of the right-hand button on your mouse.  Out of the options that come up choose Set as Background to automatically set it as your wallpaper.  If you wish to just save the image on your computer choose Save Image As and then choose a directory on your computer where you can find it after it is saved.

Screen Resolution:
You can check what screen resolution you are running at by right-clicking with your mouse anywhere on your desktop.  In the selections that drop down from your cursor select properties.  In the menu that pops up select the settings tab.  In a part of the settings menu there is a little box that says screen resolution with a slider.  The most common screen resolution is 1024x768.  You can change your screen resolution by moving the slider left or right to make it smaller or bigger.  In our galleries we offer image sizes of 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, and 1600x1200.  You can choose between these sizes by the links above each of the pictures in the galleries.

If the image doesn't fit your screen:
First of all you check what your screen resolution is by following the previous directions.  If the image just almost fits, in windows there are ways to stretch the image to fit your specific screen size but with this you could possibility lose just a little of the clarity of the picture.  To stretch a picture right click anywhere on your desktop.  In the selections that drop down from your cursor select properties.  In the menu that pops up select the Desktop tab.  Then click the drop-bar under the word Position: and choose Stretch.  If you don't like the results that this produces you should try to crop the image to your specific screen resolution using any photo editing software available.

Mac Users:
After you have chosen the ideal screen resolution click on the loaded image and choose the option that comes up: Save This Image As.  Choose a location on your hard drive where you can easily find the saved image.  Then click on the apple in the upper right hand corner of your desktop and then choose the Appearance out of the Control Panels menu.  Then click on the Desktop tab and then click on the Place Picture button in the lower right corner of the current menu.  Then find the saved image in your hard drive and click Choose.  Then click the Set Desktop button.
