Watch What Happens When These People Are Told They’re Beautiful

It’s not every day that an 18 year-old’s school photography project makes headlines, but that’s exactly what happened to Shea Glover, a student at Chicago High School For the Arts. One of her courses required an independent project, so Glover decided to create a video montage of “things she found beautiful.”

Watch Glover’s video below to see why her project has sparked national interest:

Glover used a Canon EOS Rebel T5i to shoot the footage of her peers, which she then compiled into an independent study film for her “Integrated Arts” course. Glover now attends Pace University and is pursuing a career in filmmaking, among other artistic endeavors.

“[The project] evidently turned into a social experiment halfway through,” said Glover. “My intentions were not to get a reaction out of people. I was simply filming beauty and this is the result.”
