Who says photo booths are just for humans? These adorable fuzzy friends took to the studio to get a few glam shots done. Why would a dog need glam shots? Well, in order to get adopted!
Photographer Guinnevere Shuster teamed up with The Humane Society of Utah and came up with a brilliant plan to find their pups forever homes. These playful, expressive, and downright adorable shots were displayed on their website and social media accounts, accompanied by charismatic bios of each dog.
Animals at the shelter may not always present their best selves—some bark incessantly, while others may sit timidly in the corner. These images helped to bring out the loving personalities of these dogs, which stole the hearts of many—including their new owners! Many of the dogs were adopted immediately. Dog adoption rates are up thanks to Shuster’s efforts!
Shuster continues her work with the shelter, creating beautiful collections of shelter dogs. She hopes that her work inspires others to adopt from shelters and to continuously give generously to animals in need.
