Being a fashion photographer isn’t all fun and games, there is a lot of work that takes places behind the camera. Take a look at the video below to catch a glimpse of what it takes to function on  the professional level as photographer, Karl Taylor, invites viewers into his world for a sneak peak of a typical day in his studio:

Taylor, who is well respected in the photography world for his art as well as his ability to teach photography to others, gives us some invaluable time in the studio allowing us to watch a master work. We are able to see just how precisely a photographer of his level must operate at. Keeping a clean, organized studio is part of that task. You can also see what equipment he prefers to work with, which include a gorgeous Hasselblad, a wide assortment of beauty dishes and umbrellas, along with a clean, white Plexiglass infinity wall to work with as a background.

Along with the help of a stylist and an assistant, Karl Taylor and the model work through an entire wardrobe of outfits, capturing the essence of each style in the photography.
