13 Amazing Nature Panorama Photos

A panorama is a wide-angle view or representation of a physical space, whether in painting, drawing, photography, film, seismic images or a three-dimensional model. The word was originally coined in the 18th century by the Irish painter Robert Barker to describe his panoramic paintings of Edinburgh and London. For this list, we’ve chosen some amazing nature panorama shots, but soon we’ll treat you to some urban samples! Enjoy the view:

All the panoramas I have posted here are done with PS CS 4, 5 & 6. All are hand held and with manual exposure to insure easy blending of scenes.
I plan to get a real panoramic head for my tripod – someday!
I also post them on http://www.flickr.com/photos/reed-8/

Photos processed in Lightroom 4 (some in DPP), Panoramics stiched with photoshop cs3.
I’ve been stiching panoramics in photoshop since 1999, when I had to scan my photos/films and hand stich them using photoshop… Unfortunatly these ones are all in a un-backuped broken hard-disk.

Taken in 2013, last carnival day, with a Canon 40D, 17-40mm, shooting vertical with a tripod and rotating manually on the lens axis.
More panoramics and/night shots in both flickr and panoramio profiles (some of the panoramics are stiches from phone camera).
