Photographer Matthew Vandeputte has compiled a timelapse presentation featuring more than 100,000 photos shot during his travels between Belgium and Australia. From sunrises and starry skies, to brightly lit cities and world landmarks, Vandeputte’s Motion Timelapse 2013 Showreel shows a fantastic sense of movement and perspective:
This past year I’ve been shooting more than ever, and more than ever I’ve been shooting all over the globe. I lost count on the amount of sunsets, sunrises, moonrises, starry nights, cloudy nights, hyperlapses, timelapses, image sequences,… I captured, compiled and edited. After weeks of editing and reviewing and re-editing after input from friends and colleagues I finally finished my Motion Timelapse 2013 showreel.

Vandeputte used quite a set of gear to capture and edit the presentation, including: Canon 5D MkIII and Canon 600D/Rebel T3i cameras; Canon 17-40, 24-105, 70-200 2.8 IS II, and Tokina 116 lenses; Yongnuo intervalometers and Manfrotto tripods; and Lightroom, LRTimelapse, After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, and Magic Lantern Unified software.
