Top LG KG920 Camera Cell Phone Reviews
Trusted Reviews wrote a review of the
LG KG920 and said: "The KG920 is definitely all about
the camera and its features score reflects the quality of the
images it shoots. As a handset it is chunky, and its non camera
related phone features are something of a disappointment.
Without the camera’s goodness it would have stuggled to score
more than a six."
LG KG920 News Release Summary:
Singapore, August 25, 2006 – LG Electronics (LG), the worldwide
leader in mobile design and technology debuts the world’s first
slimmest 5 megapixel GSM digital camera phone - the KG920.
This super-slender phone, boasting high quality digital camera
and state-of-the-art multimedia features, is as good looking as
the pictures it takes. The KG920’s innovative features, includes
a 2-inch QVGA LCD screen that rotates 180 degrees for capturing
self portraits or important moments at any angle appealing to
shutterbugs and multi-media savvy consumers.
Mr. Howard Lee, Managing Director of LG electronics Singapore,
said: “Today’s customers are very design conscious. They want a
phone that is not only feature-rich, but also good looking. The
KG920 is ultra slim considering the features that it provides.
Most of all, its design, modeled after ultra-slim cameras, sets
it apart from all of its competitors. With a 5-megapixel camera
phone there is no need to carry a separate digital camera.”
At only 18.9mm, the KG920 is the slimmest phone to incorporate a
5-megapixel camera - the same quality as most consumer-targeted
digital cameras. It has a auto focus CCD camera that boasts a
VGA-level video at 30 fps (frames per second) packed together
with other features including a strobe flash effective up to 1.5
meters for shooting in low lighting conditions, 6 different shot
modes (auto, close-up, portrait, landscape, sports & dusk),
6-frame consecutive shots, up to 15 second timer shot, a half
shutter, and lens cover.
Its advanced media player provides a simple plug & play
interface to transfer music without installing drivers and is
capable of both MP3 and MPEG4 playback. The feature-packed phone
also includes Bluetooth, USB port and a Mini SD card slot..
The CDMA version of the KG920 has taken the Korean market by
storm and will be available locally in GSM version at all major
mobile phone retail outlets in September 2006 priced at $998
without plan and $898 with plan.
