Interesting Photo of the Day: Shattered Sunrise

It’s one thing to capture a gorgeous sunrise—it’s another to fracture it. But that’s exactly what New York–based artistic photographer Bing Wright has done, over and over again. This example is rich with vibrant colors and a terrific gradient, matching perfectly with Wright’s generally minimalist aesthetic:

Wright shot this particular image on Anscochrome film. It’s part of his “Broken Mirror/Evening Sky” series, which has been featured in galleries in Seattle and New York and is truly phenomenal.
