The BenQ E720 features a 7 megapixel CCD image sensor, 3x
optical zoom, smc Pentax lens and a sleek aluminum body design
TAIPEI,
TAIWAN, 11 October, 2006 – BenQ today introduced a new addition
to its award-winning digital camera lineup with the new E720,
featuring a 7.0 megapixel CCD image sensor, 3x optical zoom, smc
Pentax (Super Multi-Coating) lens and a large 2.5 inch LTPS
display. The BenQ E720 features a sleek brushed aluminum body
with a shiny metal grip and an anti-oxidized, moisture resistant
aluminum surface.
“Sometimes design inspiration comes from items we love to look
at and touch; for many, this means luxury products such as
handbags and fragrances. When I look at the E720, I think of
something luxurious.” said Manfred Wang, Director of BenQ
Lifestyle Design Center. “If you place the E720 vertically,
you’ll see its resemblance to a fragrance bottle, complete with
a luxurious stopper on top.”
In addition to its luxurious exterior, the E720 is equipped with
an array of functions including shake-free mode which prevents
image blur due to handshake, 13-scene modes for quick setting
adjustments, and continuous movie recording with optical zoom.
Furthermore, the BenQ E720 supports high light sensitivity of up
to ISO 1200 of which helps to facilitate shooting when capturing
fast-moving objects or taking photos in poor lighting
conditions. The BenQ E720 supports 3:2, 16:9 and 4:3 aspect
ratio output size and PictBridge function for direct photo
printing via a compatible printer.
