Top Samsung Digimax i5 Camera Reviews

Megapixel reviews the Samsung Digimax i5 and said: "With few external controls, the Digimax i5 offers a smooth shape that is clearly intended to slide easily into a pocket. When turned off, the lens, flash and AF-assist/self-timer lamp below are all covered by a metallic shutter that slides up to protect them."

Camera Town wrote a review on the Samsung Digimax i5 and said: "I was also surprised by the lack of a sports mode. While the camera does offer a top shutter speed of 1/2000th of a second, it gives the user no way to force it to use a higher shutter speed or at least one fast enough for a faster action shot. The lack of a sports mode makes this camera impractical for action photography. Since most family photography involves little league, football, field hockey, soccer, gymnastics, etc. it would seem to be a major oversight not to include this ability."

DC Resource reviewed the Samsung Digimax i5 and said:  "Camera performance was just okay. Start times were just under two seconds, which isn't as fast as most of the competition. The camera focuses quickly enough in good lighting, but it was horrible in low light conditions, despite having an AF-assist lamp. The i5 also had noticeable shutter lag, and I don't know why Samsung even bothered with the continuous shooting mode."
