Top Kodak Easyshare C653 Camera Reviews

CNET wrote a review on the Kodak Easyshare C653 and said: "Photos taken with the C653 look good enough for e-mails, Web sites, and 4x6 prints. Unfortunately, their flaws become quickly apparent"

The New Kodak Easyshare C653 is a 6.1 megapixel digital camera that has the capacity of making prints up to 20 x 30 inches in size. It has a 3x optical zoom lens, a large 2.4 inch indoor and outdoor color LCD display, Digital Image Stabilization using anti-blur mode, Kodak Perfect Touch Technology, 20 programmed scene modes, 3 color modes, and a Panorama stitch mode.

The lens is a Kodak AF 3x Optical Aspheric Lens that has the ability to capture crisp details. The 3x optical zoom is the 35 mm. equivalent to 36-108 mm and with it you can get closer to your main subjects without losing photo quality. The Easyshare C653 also has a 5x digital zoom that can enlarge you photos even more but with the digital zoom the closer you zoom you will lose some quality.

The Easyshare C653 is very easy to use even though it has so many interesting features. Kodak tried to make the C653 as simple as possible. The 20 programmed scene modes include auto, portrait, sport, snow, fireworks, backlight, and party. The three different color modes are: color, black and white, and sepia.

The Kodak Easyshare C653 can also shoot video very easily. With audio capture and playback the camera can capture in motion continuous VGA video which has a resolution of 640 x 480 at a rate of 10 fps. Video print options are 4, 9, or up to 16 prints, plus you can view and share single frames. The Easyshare C653 uses MPEG-4 compression so it is possible to capture more video while using less memory.

Getting your best shot with the Kodak Easyshare C653 is as easy as point and shoot. You can preview and get a good look at your photos even under direct sunlight with the 2.4” indoor and outdoor LCD color display. On-camera features include cropping, digital red-eye reduction, undo-delete, and blurry picture alert. The panorama stitch mode allows you to combine up to three shots together into a large photo. With the high-ISO scene mode you can get bright exposures even when you are shooting under lower light conditions. The Easyshare C653 has a capture framing grid to help accomplish a perfect composition. The 2-shot self timer can help when you want to be a part of the photo. There is also on-camera help and auto picture rotation which help make taking pictures very easy and simple. The Digital Image Stabilization in the anti-blur mode helps reduce blur caused by subject or camera movement.

Kodak Perfect Touch technology allows you to create photos that are as vivid as in the moment you took them. The Easyshare C653 also has 32 Megabytes of internal memory to make sure that you don’t miss a shot if your memory card becomes full.
