The Samsung SC-X300L is a Micro Compact DivX Camcorder. It is
aimed at Action junkies who would like to capture video even
while they are involved in the action – thanks to a weather
resistant external clip-on that lets you shoot handsfree. This
clip-on can be attached to a helmet, clothing, a bike, or
anything users can think of. The small external camera is
weather-proof so it could even be taken on whitewater rafting
trips if the user desires.
The SC-X300L has built-in memory that lets you record plenty of
high quality video, an SD/MMC card slot allows you to add more
memory if needed. It has a 2” LCD screen, 10x optical zoom, 100x
digital zoom, and a 680K pixel CCD sensor. It also includes
electronic image stabilization to deliver crisp visuals. It has
a 4:3 recording ratio. The external clip-on lens is a 320K pixel
CMOS.
The SC-X300L also is USB 2.0 compatible for quick information
transfer. USB 2.0 can transfer video files 40x faster than USB
1.1. The DivX recording is 720x480 resolution at 30 fps. It has
an F1.8 lens (18.6 mm. diameter). It has an 80 minute battery
life. The SC-X300L can also be used as an MP3 player (4 hours).
It is compatible with Windows 200 and XP. The camcorder
dimensions are 2.41" x 3.68" x 1.19" and the camcorder weighs
