SoundArt UK
Canvas Art Speakers For Decoration and Sound
Transform your interior with stylish canvas art speakers
and make cumbersome traditional speakers a thing of the past.
SoundArt UK Press Release Summary:
SoundArt UK has unveiled its leading edge electronics solution
that brings together sound and photography. SoundArt is a canvas
speaker system designed to show off your choice of photography
and plays almost any sound source - from an iPod to a
professional audio visual system.
The speakers set a new standard in sound, delivering a stunning,
natural audio performance through canvas art. SoundArt consists
of the owner's choice of canvas print, Distributed Mode
Loudspeakers* which sit in the frame and a powerful sub woofer.
Fully customisable and using exclusive British technology,
SoundArt speakers integrate professional photography into
today's contemporary interiors.
“Unlike thicker, conventional box speakers, which essentially
push air, SoundArt speakers generate a natural acoustic sound
through vibration, in the same way a note from a solo violin
fills a concert hall,” explained SoundArt UK's MD, Jeremy
Curtis, adding, “With SoundArt, there are no moving parts, the
canvass becomes an integral part of the sound board.”
There's no complicated set-up, just hang on your wall, plug in
your music source and enjoy the space around you. Almost any
audio source can be played through it - your Hi-Fi, MP3 player,
PC, DVD, CD or the output on your AV system.
SoundArt is available through a nationwide network of stockists,
including photographic studios, interior designers and AV
specialists.

The amplifier sections (bass - mid/top) although they share the
same toroidal transformer they have separate rectifiers and
smoothing. This is important as this prevents a large power
drain due to a heavy bass beat causing the dynamics of the mid /
top being affected. The bass amp is a discrete MOS-FET amplifier
and the Mid /Top are audio ICs
*Distributed Mode Loudspeakers (DML) deliver sound through the
vibration of a sound board as opposed to the pistonic motion of
a conventional loudspeaker which displaces air. |
