New Night Landscape Wallpaper from Ulm, Germany

This digital wallpaper is from the city of Ulm in Germany. A tripod was used, the exposure was 8 seconds long with an aperture of F/5.6. It was taken on 7/1/2006. Sharp Night Photography Without a Tripod

Ziv Haparnas writes, "Tripods are used when you need a steady platform to take a digital photo. In some scenarios not using a tripod will result in a blurry digital photo with its objects either blurred or simply out of focus. However there are times when you will find yourself in a situation that a tripod is needed but you do not have one with you to use. Here are some alternatives to using a tripod when one is not available. Like film cameras digital cameras are also sensitive to movements and shakings while shooting a photo. Konica Minolta OLED Development

Konica Minolta Press Release Excerpt:

On June 30, 2006, Konica Minolta announced that it had successfully developed a white OLED with a power efficiency of 64 lumens per watt, which is four times the efficiency of standard incandescent bulbs.
