Crop and Straighten Digital Photos in Photoshop

Mike Kruske writes, "It's happened to all of us. We come across a great photo shot, and while framing the image, pay more attention to the framing parameters than the leveling of the image. After downloading the digital photo and realizing we have a world class photographic image, we also realize the image is way out of level. If the digital photo just had a level horizon, it would certainly be an award winning photographic image. There is a very simple technique that can be used to level a digital photo, or to change the basic orientation of the image using any quality image editing software."         Full Article

The Caplio 500G wide, the successor to the Caplio 400G wide (launched in January 2004), starts off with the same strong set of features as its predecessor, with superior water and dust resistance, a wide-angle optical 3x zoom (equivalent to 28-85mm for a 35mm camera), and functions for linkage with Construction CALS and other business systems. Casio Exilim EX-Z1000 Review at Lets Go Digital

Lets Go Digital wrote a review of the Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z1000 and said: "The camera is equipped with many innovative functions, is economical with its energy, shows an excellent image quality, and is packaged in a high-quality stainless steel housing. In our opinion, the fact that this camera offers 10 Megapixels is not necessarily its main asset; after all, the Casio Exilim EX Z1000 camera already has sufficient potential in itself to seize a market share."      More

Restoring Old Scratched Photos in Photoshop

Michael Wysmierski writes, "There are times that people may have old photographs they would like to restore to save the memories. Photos usually get damaged through the times. The pictures may get blurred, the color fades and the picture might acquire marks and scratches. Thank the technology of today. People can now save and restore their old photos with the help of Photoshop. This is one easy way on how to remove the blotches and marks on an old picture. This is also a good way to make the picture look new but still appear classical. It will be a pleasant and easy way to display pictures kept on old albums and cabinets for a long time."          Full Article
