Bring out the Depths of a Landscape - Photoshop Tutorial
This
tutorial is to help you learn how to adjust landscape photos to
bring out the detail of the background and horizon. Much of the
time a digital camera will bring out the colors more in the
foreground, but with this tutorial you can learn how to
emphasize the whole scene. With this technique you can make any
regular landscape photo look very professional. And each step is
completely customizable to work with different photos. For
different photos, the process and amount of adjustment won't be
exactly the same.

Panasonic Lumix LZ5 Reviews Posted
Panasonic News Release
Excerpt:
The MEGA Optical Image Stabilization, which Panasonic puts into
all of its cameras, moves the lens to compensate for the slight
hand movements most people make when taking a picture. It’s hand
movement that leads to most blurry pictures, a common complaint
for amateur photographers. With MEGA Optical Image
Stabilization, pictures come out clear, even when using the zoom
feature or shooting in low light.

Easy Red Eye Removal in Photoshop
Shaun Pearce writes, "The photos you took of the party
are really great - except for one thing: "red eye" makes
everyone look like extras from a low budget horror movie! Red
eye can be a real problem if you're taking photos with a flash.
It's caused by the reaction of light from the flash on the inner
workings of your eye. Pictures of animals (especially cats) can
suffer from a similar condition know as "pet eye". Photoshop
offers a solution to this problem, and while it can't make
things look exactly the way they should have been, it can make
the people (or pets) in your pictures look less possessed."

Pentax K100D News Release
Excerpt:
The K100D features a Pentax-developed Shake Reduction (SR)
system, which effectively reduces camera shake for sharp,
blur-free images even under difficult shooting conditions, such
as using a telephoto lens, shooting in low light conditions
without a supplementary flash illumination. The K100D SR
mechanism is designed to minimize camera shake by oscillating
the CCD image sensor vertically and horizontally at high speed
using magnetic force, while adjusting the speed of oscillation
in proportion to the amount of camera shake detected by a
built-in sensor.
