Olympus Stylus 710 Comments at Digital Camera Review
Digital Camera Reviews wrote a review of the
Olympus Stylus 710 and said: "The Olympus Stylus 710 is an
attractive camera that provides the weatherproofing that the Stylus
line is known for. A quite capable camera, it captures nice pictures
with accurate color and good exposure. It does suffer from high
noise when the sensitivity is increased for indoor shooting or to
use the digital image stabilization. The 15 frames per second movie
mode is also disappointing when compared to most other cameras in
this class."

Casio Exilim EX-Z850 Initial Review at Digital Camera Info
Digital
Camera Info wrote a review of the
Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z850
and said: "For a camera this small, the Casio EX-Z850
certainly packs in everything but the kitchen sink. Starting
with the powerful 8 MP sensor and going to the superb battery
life which is rated at 440 shots, there’s a lot under the hood
of this petite, all-metal point-and-shooter. Best of all, there
are manual control options for more experienced photographers,
including aperture and shutter priority AE and manual white
balance."

New Photoshop Tutorial on Adjusting the Height of Buildings
This
tutorial is to help you learn how to adjust the skylines of
cities to change building height or size. With this tutorial I
changed the height of one building so it would be the tallest in
San Francisco. For different photos, the process and amount of
adjustment won't be exactly the same. But you could also
use this technique to copy in buildings from other photos to
make a whole new skyline.

Panasonic Lumix FX01 Review at Megapixel.net
Megapixel wrote a review of the
Panasonic Lumix FX01 and said: "While we would have liked to
have seen more options when it comes to compression, and a lesser
susceptibility to noise, in some respects the DMC-FX01 breaks new
ground while carrying on with some of the best features we have come
to expect from Panasonic cameras. Overall, when compared to previous
models, the FX01 brings new flexibility and abilities that should
make it as popular as its predecessors have been."

Steves
Digicams wrote a review of the
Olympus Stylus 710 and said: "This is a very compact and stylish
little point-n-shoot model that every member of your household or
office will love to use. Whether the beginner or novice user, you
can be sure to capture great looking images with either the Program
AE mode, Full Auto, of one of the 23 pre-programmed scene modes. It
also includes Digital Image Stabilization Mode, which will allow you
to capture steady handheld shots in conditions that usually require
some sort of camera support."

Olympus Evolt E-330 Full Review at DP Review
DP Review wrote a review of the
Olympus Evolt E-330 and said: "Image quality is a mixed bag, you
can get some excellent results by shooting RAW and converting,
unfortunately the camera's internal processor appears to be the same
as the E-300 / E-500 (with a little tweaking) which means a more
'consumer like' appearance to JPEG images and pretty unsophisticated
noise reduction, ISO 1600 is so soft as to render many of those 7.4 megapixels unused. Color was good, tonal response was good and
dynamic range just where we expected it to be. We just expected
more."

Canon EOS 30D Review at Cnet
Cnet wrote a review of the
Canon EOS 30D
and said: "Among the few key enhancements to the 30D, Canon has
upped the number of sequential frames that you can capture in
continuous-shooting mode to 30 JPEG or 11 raw shots, from 23 or 6,
respectively; however the 5fps rate remains. In practice, however,
it typically delivered 14 raw shots until the buffer slowed it down,
as well as essentially an unlimited number of highest-quality JPEG
shots, albeit at a clip of 3.5fps. Generally, unless you're shooting
very fast action such as car racing, that kind of burst-shooting
performance should suffice."

Camera Review of the Canon 30D by DC Resource
DC Resource wrote a review of the
Canon EOS 30D
and said: "Photo quality was excellent on this 8.2 Megapixel
camera. Photos were well-exposed, with accurate colors, very low
noise levels (even at high ISO sensitivities), and minimal
purple fringing. As is the case with most D-SLRs, photos are on
the soft side straight out of the camera, and you can compensate
for this by increasing the in-camera sharpening a bit. One
thing that really got nailed home during my time with the 30D is
how important lens quality is. I bought the Canon 17 - 85 EF-S
lens a few months back, and have been less than thrilled with
its sharpness."
