Casio Announces
the Exilim Zoom EX-Z100
The Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z100 is a 10.1 megapixel digital
camera with 4x optical zoom. It is a lot like the EX-Z200 but
lacks the CCD shift anti shake function for blur reduction. The
EX-Z100 will also be available in March for $280.

Samsung Announces the NV24 with High Definition Video
The
Samsung NV24 HD is a 10-megapixel digital camera with a 3.6x
Schneider-Kreuznach Varioplan optical zoom lens. It is capable
of shooting high-definition video and is the world's smallest,
24mm ultra wide angle, 10 megapixel digital camera. The NV24 HD
features dual image stabilization, a 2.5" LCD screen, face
detection, self-portrait mode, and a function description
feature to help photographers feel more comfortable using the
different modes. It is available in March 2008 for about $349.

Samsung NV4 is an 8.2-megapixel digital camera that also serves
as a personal media player, which enables users to watch movies,
videos and listen to music. It features 3x optical zoom, a 2.5"
LCD screen, Samsung's innovative World Tour Guide function,
digital image stabilization, face detection, self portrait mode,
and 14 scene modes. The NV4 will be available for $279.

Samsung NV40 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical
zoom Schneider lens. It is designed to be an advanced
point-and-shoot camera with enhanced image quality and speed.
The NV40 features dual image stabilization, a new DRIM image

dial, Samsung's Smart Touch user interface, VGA resolution

megapixels instead of 10. Both cameras have the same basic
features but the NV40 is available in March for $329 and the
NV30 is available in February for $279.

Sony Announces the Handycam DCR-SR65
The
Sony Handycam DCR-SR65 is a 40GB hard drive camcorder made to
incorporate intelligent and fun-to-use functions that will make
people feel more confident in their moviemaking abilities. It
features 25x optical zoom, up to 27 hours recording time, a
1-megapixel CCD sensor, a built-in zoom microphone, image
stabilization, and Sony’s HDD Smart Protection system. The SR65
will be available in February for about $600.

Sony Announces the Handycam DCR-SR45
The Sony Handycam DCR-SR45 is just like the SR65 only it
has up to 20 hours recording time, and a 680K-pixel CCD sensor.
