Announces the 10.2 Megapixel K200D
The
Pentax K200D is a 10.2 megapixel digital slr camera with a CCD
sensor. It is designed for users who may be unfamiliar with DSLR
cameras but want a camera that will allow them to grow as they
learn about photography. The K200D features an expanded dynamic
range function, the Pentax Real Image Engine, improved dust
reduction, weather to dust resistant body, a shake reduction
mechanism, and 22 custom functions.

shooting modes. The S12 will be available in April for $279.

The
Pentax Optio E50 is an 8.1-megapixel digital camera with 3x
optical zoom. It is designed for customers looking for the
maximum features and a minimal price. It is also an excellent
travel camera due to compatibility with easy to find AA
batteries. The E50 features face recognition, digital shake
reduction, auto picture mode, green mode, and a 2.4" LCD. It
will be available in March for about $149.

Sony Announces the Smart Cybershot DSC-T300
The
Sony Cybershot DSC-T300 is a 10.1 megapixel digital camera with
5x optical zoom. It is designed to be a smarter point-and-shoot
camera then the previous sony T-models. The T300 features face
detection, image stabilization, new smile shutter technology,
and a 3.5" LCD. The DSC-T300 will be available in March for
about $400. It is the successor the the Sony Cybershot DSC-T200.

Sony Announces
Alpha DSLR-A300
The DSLR-A300 is a lot like the DSLR-A350 but it is only
10.2 megapixels. The DSLR-A300 also features Sony’s new “Quick
AF Live View” technology so you can frame photos on the camera’s
LCD without sacrificing auto-focusing speed common to other
live-view systems.

Sony Announces
DSLR-A350 With Quick Live View
The
Sony Alpha DSLR-A350 is a 14.2 megapixel digital camera with
Sony's new Quick Auto Focus Live View. It is designed to provide
a similar experience to a point and shoot camera, but without
compromising speed or performance. The DSLR-A350 also features a
2.7" LCD, image stabilization, and the Bionz processing engine.
The DSLR-A350 camera body will be available in March for about
$800, and the DSLR-A350 kit with a DT 18-70mm f3.5-5.6 3.9x zoom
lens will be available for $900.
