Black & White Photography Composition

Sonia writes, "One of the most limiting factors in black and white photography is that color is absent. Therefore, black and white photography heavily relies on shapes and dynamic lines for interest. Leading lines which are curved, slanted lines which overlap across each other are the ones that provide black and white photography the dynamism that it needs. New Fireworks Wallpaper Available

This wallpaper was taken by Trey Ratcliff, a very popular HDR (High Dynamic Range) photographer. It was taken on the 4th of July overlooking Lake Austin in Texas. This photo was a finalist in the 4th annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest under the Americana category. Canon Selphy CP750 Printer Initial Review

The Canon Selphy CP750 is an ultra-compact photo printer built to replace the CP730. To improve photos, the CP750 can do automatic red-eye correction, image trimming, skin tone optimization, and multiple color effects. It has a 2.4” LCD screen with icon-based user interface, IrSimple compatibility for infra-red printing from mobile devices, and PictBridge direct printing. Canon Selphy CP740 Printer Initial Review

Canon News Release Excerpt:
The dye-sublimation printing process of the new SELPHY CP740 delivers smooth, glossy prints that are free from graininess.
