News Release Excerpt:
The NV8 also includes a high-resolution movie mode, with the
ability to record at VGA resolution (640x480) at a maximum frame
rate of 30fps. Shooters can also take advantage of the cameras’
movie stabilizers and 3x optical zooms while recording video and
with Samsung’s Successive Recording mode, can pause, and then
resume filming without having to save the clips as individual
files. US availability and pricing is to be determined.

BenQ
E1000 Initial Review
The
BenQ E1000 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with 3x digital
zoom. It is designed for individuals with discerning taste, it
features a metallic casing and an a solid metal grip with
brushing treatment on the front of the camera, along with matted
black finishing case to boost up the overall taste. The E1000
has a Shake Free function, ISO up to 1600, a Face-Tracking
function, and a fully manual mode.

Canon HG10 HD Initial Review
The
Canon HG10 HD is a AVCHD Hard Disk Drive camcorder with a Canon
10x HD Video lens. It features the Canon Full HD CMOS image
sensor, Canon's DIGIC DV II Image Processor, SuperRange Optical
Image Stabilization and Instant Auto Focus. The HG10 has 40 GB
of internal hard disk drive space and can capture 3.1 megapixel
photos to a miniSD card.

Hitachi DZ-BD7H Initial Review
The
Hitachi DZ-BD7H is a high-definition hybrid camcorder with a
Blue-Ray disc drive and a built-in 30 GB hard disc drive. It can
copy the contents of the hard disc drive to the Blue-Ray disc
within the camcorder without the aid of external devices. The
DZ-BD7H features in-camera video editing, 4.32 megapixel still
photos, and a 2.7" LCD. The HDD can record approximately four
hours of 1920x1080 full high-definition video, or up to eight
hours of 1440x1080.

Panasonic HDC-SD5 Initial Review
The
Panasonic HDC-SD5 is a High Definition 3CCD camcorder with a
Leica Dicomar 10x optical zoom lens. It was designed to be the
world's smallest palm-style 3CCD full-HD camcorder (it is
smaller than it's predecessor, the SD1). The SD5 features
full-HD 1920 x 1080 recording, optical image stabilization,
intelligent contrast control and an HD advanced pure color
engine. It records in the AVCHD format to SDHC/SD memory cards.

collection consists of the Nokia 7900 Prism and the Nokia 7500
